Natuur&Milieuteam Zuid organised the Natuur & Milieu Markt in Sarphatipark, Amsterdam on April 26th. Studio Claire Hornn was showcasing the Urbeen there from 11.00 to 16.00. Rain didn’t make it less interesting! Lots of people came around and looked at the Urbeen in detail. Only a few people knew about worm composting but almost none of them knew it could be done indoor as well.
Buiten Business organised an inspiration market for people owning sustainable meeting venues. The event was in Utrecht at Fort aan de Klop on May 12th. It took place outside the fort and the weather was quite nice. All the participants had affinity with sustainability but only a small percentage of them had heard of worm composting before. I’ve inspired some people that day and the Urbeen was popular!
The Green Business Club of Amsterdam invited me again for one of their event. They presented their ‘Duurzaamheidsverslag 2015’ on April 2nd in the most sustainable building of the world: the Edge (Deloitte). Lots of business men and women were there to listen to the presentation and I had the chance to go on the podium and answered some questions about the Urbeen. Two companies located on the Zuidas participated at the pilot and that’s the reason Studio Claire Hornn was invited at the event and named in the report. A great opportunity to make the Urbeen more visible on the Zuidas.
